At Zoe’s Divorced Happily Group, we practice a holistic approach to financial counseling that is beyond analyzing financial charts, cutting a budget, spending habits or planning for retirement. We assist our clients in divorce financial counseling as well as financial counseling for couples, families, and businesses. Each individual is assigned a financial counselor who will work with you one-on-one. During each session, your counselor works with you on how to clearly understand your needs and emotional triggers to then clearly outline goals, budget and various methods to get out of debt and ultimately reach financial stability. It is important that the client become self aware of psychological triggers that have developed into financial debt.
In addition to financial debt counseling, we help our clients develop and explore saving strategies for the future. Planning for the future is an essential part of every divorce settlement. Separating or divorcing couples often face major financial transformation, which is why we want to provide the best options for each individual. Additionally, we also provide our clients with evidence-based literature on the impact financial issues can have on an individual/couple or even on business partners. Financial hardship can alter one’s behavior and can in turn affect any type of relationship, even leading to divorce or business split. The goal is to provide financial education to help people live a financially stable life.
